Jameson and Thompson was established in 1985 by Dwight Jameson and Bill Thompson in a 5,000 loft space in Jamaica Plain. Together they had ten years of accumulated experience in skilled fine art framing. Their goal was to be the best framers in town. By the time Bill Thompson left the business to pursue an artistic career in 1989, Jameson and Thompson had established a niche working primarily for art professionals at galleries, museums and corporations. Dwight has continued the tradition of excellence in conservation framing, corporate and gallery installation and art consultation. Jameson and Thompson has grown steadily, and is extremely proud of their highly skilled staff; most of whom are graduates of Boston’s great local art schools.
