The Hyde Jackson Business Association is a group of business committed to improving the conditions for doing business in Hyde Square and Jackson Square.
JP Business and Professional Association
The Jamaica Plain Business and Professional Association (JP BAPA) is active in the promotion, improvement, and growth of the Centre/South Street commercial district of Jamaica Plain from the intersection of Centre Street and South Huntington Avenue in the north to Forest Hills in the south. BAPA focuses on promotion, marketing, appearance, traffic and parking issues and other activities in the business area. It has several committees, including an executive committee.
BAPA works with the City of Boston to:
- Improve parking and traffic enforcement
- Provide notification of city work that impacts businesses
- Install Trash receptacles
- Provide a business Crime Watch notification
